FOXO4 (Phospho-Ser197)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of phosphorylated FOXO4 at serine 197 in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. It is described as a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive method for measuring relative FOXO4 phosphorylation in cells and for screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors or activators on FOXO4 phosphorylation.

The kit is reactive with human and mouse samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and absorbance read at 450 nm. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. It is intended for use with adherent cell samples and falls within the cell cycle research area.
