FOXO4 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the qualitative detection of FOXO4 protein in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which FOXO4-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colour reaction upon substrate addition, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The dynamic range is reported as > 5000 Cells [S1].

The kit is designed to measure relative FOXO4 expression in adherent cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (e.g., siRNA or chemicals) or activators on FOXO4 levels [S1][C0]. It is reactive with human and mouse samples and is intended for cell-cycle research applications [S1]. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to adjust for cell-density differences [S1]. The kit is stored at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 months [S1].
