FOXO1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay

The FOXO1 (Forkhead box protein O1) Transcription Factor Activity Assay from Assay Genie is a DNA-binding immunoassay that quantifies the active DNA-binding capability of FOXO1 in nuclear and whole-cell lysates. The plate is pre-coated with double-stranded oligonucleotides containing the consensus FOXO1 binding motif; activated FOXO1 in the sample binds to these sequences and is detected with a FOXO1-specific antibody, providing a functional readout of transcriptional activity rather than total protein abundance.

Validated for Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, this 96 Assays kit supports research on insulin signaling, cellular stress responses, longevity pathways, and PI3K/AKT-regulated gene expression. Recommended sample input is approximately 10 µL of nuclear extract per well, prepared using a suitable lysis buffer. Unused microplate strips should be returned to the foil pouch with desiccant and refrigerated; bring all reagents to room temperature before use.
