FOXH1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay

This DNA-binding ELISA from Assay Genie quantifies the DNA-binding activity of FOXH1, also known as FAST1, a forkhead-box transcription factor that partners with SMAD2 and SMAD4 to relay TGF-beta, Activin and Nodal signals through the Activin Response Element (ARE). The assay accepts nuclear and cell lysates from human, mouse and rat cultures, supporting developmental biology, stem-cell differentiation and nodal-pathway signal-transduction studies. Each kit provides a pre-coated microplate and the buffers needed for the in vitro workflow; reconstituted reagents should be stored at -20 °C and protected from light, with working dilutions refrigerated and used within the kit's shelf life to preserve binding-activity readouts.
