FKHRL1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Designed for the qualitative detection and relative quantification of FKHRL1 (also known as FOXO3a) protein in cultured cells, this lysate-free, high-throughput Cell-Based ELISA from Assay Genie uses an indirect ELISA format. Target protein is captured by FKHRL1-specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm.

The assay is suitable for measuring relative FKHRL1 levels in adherent cell cultures and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on FKHRL1 expression. The kit has been validated for Human, Mouse, and Rat reactivity. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

Performed in a 96-Well Microplate format with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, the kit is stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 Months. FOXO3, the gene encoding FKHRL1, is a member of the forkhead family of transcription factors characterized by a distinct forkhead domain, and is involved in regulating processes such as apoptosis, cell cycle control, and the oxidative stress response.
