FGFR1 (Phospho-Tyr654)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the detection of FGFR1 phosphorylated at tyrosine 654 in cell-based assays. The kit provides a qualitative measure of FGFR1 (Phospho-Tyr654) levels in cultured cells, supporting studies of FGFR1 signalling pathways involved in cell growth, differentiation, and survival. It is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is suited for use with adherent cells.

The assay employs an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction at 450 nm upon substrate addition. With a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, the kit is lysate-free and supports high-throughput screening for the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), and activators on FGFR1 phosphorylation. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to normalise absorbance values to cell density.

The kit is intended for research applications in cancer, developmental biology, and stem cell research, where it can help elucidate the role of phosphorylation at tyrosine 654 in FGFR1 activation and downstream signalling.
