FAP-1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie FAP-1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a sensitive, high-throughput, lysate-free assay designed to detect FAP-1 protein expression in cultured cells. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which FAP-1-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, measured at 450 nm.

It is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and is suitable for use with adherent cells. The kit supports measurement of relative FAP-1 levels in cultured cells and screening of the effects that various treatments, inhibitors, or activators have on FAP-1 expression. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target signals, and a Crystal Violet staining method may be used to assess cell density. The kit is stored at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 months.
