FAK (Phospho-Tyr576)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a fluorometric cell-based ELISA designed to monitor phosphorylation of FAK (Phospho-Tyr576) directly in cultured cells without the need for lysate preparation. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which target-specific primary antibodies are detected with dye-conjugated secondary antibodies, enabling a fluorometric read-out on a dual-channel fluorescent plate reader. It supports screening of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), and activators on FAK phosphorylation. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control, and an antibody against the non-phosphorylated counterpart of FAK (Phospho-Tyr576) is provided to support normalization of the RFU values obtained for phosphorylated FAK.

The assay is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and has a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. It is supplied as a cell-based phospho ELISA and is shipped and stored at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 months. Fluorescence is read at Ex/Em 651/667 (Dye 1) and 495/521 (Dye 2).
