Description

From Assay Genie, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the qualitative detection of ETK protein phosphorylation at tyrosine 566 in cultured cells. Using an indirect ELISA format, the assay captures phosphorylated ETK (Phospho-Tyr566) with target-specific primary antibodies and detects them with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm.

The kit is lysate-free and works with adherent cells, supporting high-throughput workflows such as screening the effects of treatments, siRNA, chemicals, or activators on ETK phosphorylation. It reacts with human and mouse samples, has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and is supplied as two 96-well microplates. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density for normalization.

ETK is encoded by the BMX gene (Gene ID: 660, UniProt ID: P51813, OMIM: 300101), a non-receptor tyrosine kinase of the Tec family implicated in cell growth, differentiation, migration, and signal transduction pathways including the Stat pathway. The kit is listed under the Cell Death research area.
