ETK Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA from Assay Genie provides qualitative detection of ETK protein expression in cultured adherent cells using an indirect ELISA format. Target-specific primary antibodies are recognised by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, and the resulting enzymatic activity is read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

The assay is lysate-free and designed for high-throughput use, enabling measurement of relative ETK levels as well as screening of the effects that treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on ETK. Normalisation is supported by an included monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody that serves as an internal positive control, together with an optional Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step that allows absorbance values to be adjusted to cell numbers.

Reactivity covers human and mouse samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells, a 96-well microplate format, and storage at 4 °C for 6 months. The target corresponds to the BMX gene product, cytoplasmic tyrosine-protein kinase BMX, a Tec-family non-receptor tyrosine kinase (Gene ID: 660, UniProt ID: P51813), and the kit is grouped under cell death research.
