Estrogen Receptor-alpha (Phospho-Ser106)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed to detect Estrogen Receptor-alpha phosphorylated at serine 106 in cell-based assays. The assay is reactive across human, mouse and rat samples and is intended for adherent cells, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. Detection is achieved by colorimetric measurement at 450 nm, and the kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

The assay is lysate-free and supports high-throughput workflows, enabling qualitative determination of phosphorylated Estrogen Receptor-alpha (Phospho-Ser106) levels in cultured cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density for further normalization.
