ERY (Erythromycin ) ELISA Kit

The ERY (Erythromycin) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a competitive inhibition immunoassay developed for quantitative screening of erythromycin residues in food and biological samples. Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic widely used in veterinary medicine, and regulatory monitoring programs require sensitive detection in commodities such as raw milk, eggs, livestock muscle, and shrimp.

The kit is supplied in a microplate format with 96 assays per plate. During the assay procedure, erythromycin in the sample or standard competes with an enzyme-labelled erythromycin conjugate for binding to the immobilized antibody. After a wash step to remove unbound material, substrate is added and the resulting colour intensity is measured with a microplate reader; absorbance is inversely proportional to erythromycin concentration.

The recommended sample volume is 50 µL per well. Unused strips should be stored refrigerated at 4°C in the resealed pouch with desiccant, and the kit is intended for research use only in food safety and residue testing workflows.
