ERCC1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit enables qualitative detection of ERCC1 protein expression directly in cultured cells without the need for lysate preparation. It uses an indirect ELISA format with colorimetric detection at 450 nm and has a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. The kit is reactive with human and mouse samples and is intended for use with adherent cells.

ERCC1-specific primary antibodies capture the target protein, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies then catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, while Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density for additional normalization. The kit can be used for measuring relative ERCC1 levels in cultured cells and for screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on ERCC1 expression.
