ERAB Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

ERAB, also known as ethanolamine phosphate phospho-lyase, plays a critical role in ethanolamine metabolism and is implicated in various metabolic disorders, making accurate measurement valuable for research into cellular processes and metabolic conditions.

This lysate-free, high-throughput assay works through an indirect ELISA format in which ERAB is captured by ERAB-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalysing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density so that results can be normalized to cell amounts.
