ER81 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed for the detection of ER81 levels in cell culture samples, offering a sensitive and specific indirect ELISA workflow. The assay detects the ER81 protein in adherent cultured cells without the need for lysate preparation, and can be used to measure relative ER81 amounts as well as to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (e.g. siRNA or chemicals) or activators on ER81 expression.

Detection is by a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell stain is supplied so that cell density can be determined and absorbance values corrected for plating differences. The kit is reactive with Human and Mouse samples, is formatted for a 96-well microplate, and is stored at 4°C for up to 6 Months.
