Equine Matrix Metalloproteinase 7 (MMP7) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Equine MMP7 ELISA Kit is a quantitative immunoassay for measuring matrix metalloproteinase 7 (matrilysin) in equine research samples. MMP7 is a zinc-dependent endopeptidase that degrades extracellular matrix components including fibronectin, laminin, and casein, and is investigated in equine studies of osteoarthritis, laminitis, colitis, and pulmonary inflammation. The kit is supplied as a complete microplate pack of 96 assays with pre-coated wells, detection antibody, standards, and substrate reagents.

Samples (equine serum, heparin plasma, or tissue homogenate) are added to the wells and MMP7 is captured for colorimetric readout via absorbance measurement. Recommended sample volume is 50 ul per well. Store unopened kit refrigerated; protect from light. Shelf life is approximately 12 months from manufacture when stored properly. The kit is for research use only and not intended for diagnostic or clinical applications.
