Equine Interleukin 18 (IL-18) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Equine IL-18 ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-18 in equine serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants using a sandwich immunoassay on a pre-coated microplate. Interleukin-18 is a pro-inflammatory cytokine of the IL-1 family that drives IFN-gamma production and has been investigated in equine inflammatory disease models, including laminitis, recurrent airway obstruction, and septic arthritis. The assay has a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of less than 7.8 pg/mL, and uses a 100 uL sample volume per well. All reagents are supplied with the 96 assays kit format, including pre-coated plate, lyophilized recombinant standard, biotinylated detection antibody, concentrated wash buffer, and TMB substrate for in vitro research use only. The kit should be stored refrigerated; allow components to equilibrate to room temperature before use, and protect the TMB substrate from light to preserve chromogenic activity.
