Equine Interleukin 10 (IL-10) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Equine Interleukin 10 (IL-10) ELISA Kit quantitatively measures IL-10, a pleiotropic anti-inflammatory cytokine secreted by regulatory T cells, monocytes, and macrophages that downregulates Th1-driven inflammation and limits tissue damage during infection. In equine research, IL-10 concentrations are routinely tracked to evaluate immune balance in recurrent airway obstruction, equine asthma, endotoxemia, laminitis models, and post-strenuous exercise recovery.

The kit provides a complete workflow including pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, equine IL-10 standard, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution. The capture antibody is equine-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against equine IL-4, IL-6, IFN-γ, or TNF-α.

Unopened components remain stable when stored refrigerated; reconstituted standards and conjugate should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C to preserve activity, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided. Sufficient reagents are provided for one full microplate run, and the kit is intended for research use only.
