Equine Defensin Beta 2 (DEFb2) ELISA Kit

Beta-defensins are small antimicrobial peptides central to equine innate immunity, and DEFb2 (also called eBD-2) is constitutively expressed in mucosal and epithelial tissues where it contributes to barrier defense against bacterial and fungal challenge. This absorbance-based immunoassay from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of DEFb2 in equine blood-derived specimens, with each well of the supplied microplate requiring a 50 uL sample volume.
