Epo-R Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of Erythropoietin Receptor (EPO-R) levels in cell cultures. The assay supports research applications in which qualitative measurement of Epo-R protein expression is needed, including studies of erythropoiesis and the investigation of hematological disorders in which EPO-R signalling is implicated.

The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which Epo-R is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. It is a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow suitable for adherent cell cultures, with a stated dynamic range of more than 5,000 cells per well. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided to account for cell density after the colorimetric read. The kit is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and is intended to be stored at 4 °C for up to six months.
