EPHA2/3/4 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie EPHA2/3/4 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate quantification of EPHA2, EPHA3, and EPHA4 receptor tyrosine kinase levels in cells. Using a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm, this cell-based ELISA kit is reactive with human and rat samples and offers a dynamic range of > 5000 cells.

Supplied in a 96-well microplate format, the kit employs a lysate-free, indirect ELISA format in which EPHA2/3/4-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies enable colorimetric readout upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density for further normalization to cell amounts. Suitable for use with adherent cells, the kit supports qualitative measurement of EPHA2/3/4 expression in cultured cells as well as screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators.

EPHA2, EPHA3, and EPHA4 play key roles in cellular processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and axon guidance, and their dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, neurological disorders, and inflammatory conditions, making this kit a useful tool for research into cell signaling pathways and receptor-related disease pathogenesis. The kit should be stored at 4°C and is stable for 6 months.
