eNOS (Phospho-Ser615)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit enables detection of phosphorylated eNOS (endothelial nitric oxide synthase) at serine 615 in cultured cells, supporting research into eNOS signalling pathways and nitric oxide biology. The colorimetric assay is read at 450 nm and uses an indirect ELISA format, in which eNOS (Phospho-Ser615) is captured by a phospho-specific primary antibody and detected with an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell stain is provided for determining cell density after the colorimetric readout.

Designed for adherent cells, the kit is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and targets NOS3 (Gene ID: 4846). It can be used to measure relative amounts of phosphorylated eNOS in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on eNOS phosphorylation. The dynamic range is > 5000 Cells.
