eNOS (Phospho-Ser1176)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed to monitor phosphorylation of eNOS at Ser1176 and its expression profile in cultured cells, without the need for lysate preparation. The qualitative indirect ELISA format uses target-specific primary antibodies together with Dye 1- and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies to enable fluorometric detection, with readouts taken at Ex/Em 651/667 and 495/521. Two normalization approaches are built into the workflow: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody serves as an internal positive control, and an antibody against the non-phosphorylated counterpart of eNOS (Phospho-Ser1176) is provided so that RFU values for phosphorylated eNOS can be normalized against total eNOS.

The kit is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is supplied in a two 96-well plate format. It supports measurement of the relative amounts of phosphorylated eNOS (Phospho-Ser1176) in cultured cells and can be used to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (e.g. siRNA or chemicals) and activators on NOS3 phosphorylation. The stated dynamic range is > 5000 Cells, the detection method is fluorometric, and the kit is stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 Months.
