Researchers commonly combine the enzyme with collagenase and DNase in a digestion cocktail held at 37 degrees C for 20 to 45 minutes, depending on tissue density, then filter and centrifuge the suspension to recover dissociated cells for downstream cell culture or flow cytometry workflows.
