EGR1/2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of EGR1/2 protein levels using a colorimetric method measured at 450 nm. The assay is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format suitable for adherent cells.

The kit offers a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow that enables measurement of relative EGR1/2 amounts in cultured cells and screening of the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators. Detection follows an indirect ELISA format, in which EGR1/2 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, while Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is provided to determine cell density and adjust for variations in plating. Recommended storage is at 4°C with a stability of 6 Months.
