EGFR (Phospho-Tyr1197)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed to monitor phosphorylation of EGFR at Tyr1197 and to profile its expression in cultured cells. The kit is described as a lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive format suitable for measuring relative levels of phosphorylated EGFR in cells, and for screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on EGFR phosphorylation. It is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which the target is captured by phospho-specific primary antibodies, with dye-conjugated secondary antibodies providing a fluorometric readout. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalisation, and an antibody against the non-phosphorylated counterpart of EGFR (Phospho-Tyr1197) is provided to allow RFU values from non-phosphorylated EGFR to be used to normalise the RFU value for phosphorylated EGFR. The stated dynamic range is > 5000 Cells and storage is 4°C for 6 months.
