EGFR (Phospho-Tyr1069)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the precise detection of phosphorylated EGFR at tyrosine 1069 directly in cultured cells, with sample type listed as adherent cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format: EGFR (Phospho-Tyr1069)-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalysing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The procedure is lysate-free, sensitive and suited to high-throughput use, allowing measurement of relative levels of phosphorylated EGFR and screening of treatments, inhibitors or activators such as siRNA or chemicals for their effects on EGFR phosphorylation.

A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values. For cell density normalisation, a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be performed after the HRP readout, allowing absorbance values to be adjusted to cell counts.
