EGFR (Phospho-Thr678)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's cell-based ELISA kit enables detection of phosphorylated EGFR at threonine 678 in cultured cells, offering a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow for EGFR signaling research. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which EGFR (Phospho-Thr678)-specific primary antibodies capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. It is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and is intended for use with adherent cells.

A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values. A Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is also provided to determine cell density, allowing absorbance readings to be adjusted for plating differences. The kit can be used both to measure relative levels of phosphorylated EGFR in cultured cells and to screen treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators for their effects on EGFR phosphorylation.
