EDD Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Cell-Based ELISA Kit for the qualitative detection of EDD protein expression in cultured cells. The assay is reactive with Human and Mouse samples and is intended for use with adherent cells.

Detection relies on a colorimetric method measured at 450 nm, using an indirect ELISA format in which EDD is captured by EDD-specific primary antibodies and visualised via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies. The kit is supplied as a 96-well microplate, has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and is stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 months.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density so that absorbance can be adjusted to cell amount. EDD corresponds to the UBR5 gene symbol, an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase involved in the N-end rule pathway.
