EasySep EV PE Positive Selection Kit

This immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies isolates highly purified human extracellular vesicles (EVs) labeled with PE (phycoerythrin)-conjugated antibodies from plasma, serum, urine, and cell culture conditioned medium. The workflow is fast, easy to use, and requires no columns: EVs are labeled with PE-conjugated antibodies (not provided) and magnetic particles, then separated using an EasySep™ magnet while unwanted components are poured off. The kit is designed to process 20 mL of biofluid or conditioned medium, and the resulting EV fraction is immediately ready for downstream applications such as DNA/RNA extraction, western blot, or mass spectrometry.

Components include a Selection Cocktail (a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS and 0.1% BSA) and Releasable RapidSpheres™ (a suspension of magnetic particles in water), both stored at 2 - 8 °C. Sample preparation guidance covers plasma, conditioned medium, and urine, and the kit is compatible with plasma derived from whole blood collected in common tubes (acid-citrate-dextrose, EDTA, and heparin) and specialized preservation tubes. A note indicates that antibody complexes and particles bound to EVs may interfere with Brilliant Violet™ antibody conjugates, polyethylene glycol-modified proteins, or other chemically related ligands.
