EasySep Hu EV (CD63) Pos Sel Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, the EasySep™ Human Extracellular Vesicle (CD63) Positive Selection Kit is designed to isolate highly purified human CD63+ extracellular vesicles (EVs) from plasma, serum, cell culture conditioned medium, and urine in less than 30 minutes. The protocol uses a simple, column-free immunomagnetic positive selection approach.

The kit targets EVs with an antibody recognizing the CD63 tetraspanin marker. Desired EVs are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles, then separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted biofluid components are simply poured off while desired EVs remain in the tube; following positive selection, particles should not be released from the EVs. The final isolated fraction contains highly purified EVs that are immediately available for downstream applications such as DNA/RNA extraction, Western blot, or mass spectrometry.

The kit is supplied with an EasySep™ Human CD63 Positive Selection Cocktail (a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS) and EasySep™ Releasable RapidSpheres™ (a suspension of magnetic particles in water), both stored at 2 - 8°C. For assessment of the CD63 tetraspanin marker by Western blot immunostaining, the manufacturer indicates the use of Anti-Human CD63 Antibody, Clone H5C6. The product is for research use only.
