EasySep Hu EV (CD81) Pos Sel Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this kit enables isolation of highly purified human CD81+ extracellular vesicles (EVs) from plasma, serum, cell culture conditioned medium, and urine in less than 30 minutes using an immunomagnetic positive selection workflow that does not require columns. The procedure labels target EVs with monoclonal antibodies recognizing the CD81 tetraspanin marker and links them to magnetic particles; an EasySep™ magnet retains the labelled EVs in the tube while unwanted biofluid components are simply poured off. The resulting EV fraction is immediately available for downstream applications such as DNA/RNA extraction, western blot, or mass spectrometry.

The kit is designed for processing up to 20 mL of biofluid per preparation and comprises an EasySep™ Human CD81 Positive Selection Cocktail together with EasySep™ Releasable RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles, both stored at 2 – 8 °C without freezing and stable until the expiry date on the label. Particle release is not recommended: following release, EVs remain bound to antibody complexes, and these antibody complexes and particles may interfere with Brilliant Violet™ antibody conjugates, polyethylene glycol-modified proteins, or other chemically related ligands. The workflow is carried out at room temperature (15 – 25 °C) using a compatible EasySep™ magnet or EasyPlate™, as set out in the manual protocol.
