EV SEC Columns (0.5 mL up to 2 mL)

Size exclusion chromatography (SEC) columns from STEMCELL Technologies are designed for the isolation and purification of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from biological samples, including plasma, serum, and cell culture media. The columns provide an efficient method for separating EVs from circulating proteins, and SEC causes minimal alteration in vesicle characteristics such as functionality and shape compared to other isolation methods.

The columns accept 0.5–2 mL of sample loaded onto the gel matrix, with 500 μL fractions collected. EVs typically elute in fractions 7–10, while proteins elute from fraction 11 onwards. The isolation protocol takes approximately 15 minutes, and the resulting vesicles are suitable for downstream analyses including flow cytometry, western blot, nucleic acid extraction, and functional assays.

Each column can be used up to five times. Store at 2–8°C; product remains stable until the expiry date on the label. The columns are not considered sterile.
