Dynamin-1 (Phospho-Ser778)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Cell-Based ELISA Kit designed for the detection of Dynamin-1 phosphorylated at serine 778 in cell lysates. The kit targets the DNM1 gene product (UniProt Q05193) and is described as a sensitive, specific assay suited to research on membrane trafficking, endocytosis, and synaptic vesicle recycling. Validated for use with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, the assay uses a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

The qualitative, indirect ELISA format relies on HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalisation, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided to normalise absorbance values to cell density. The kit is intended for adherent cells and can be used to measure relative levels of phosphorylated Dynamin-1 in cultured cells, as well as to screen the effects of treatments, siRNA, chemical inhibitors, or activators on Dynamin-1 phosphorylation.
