Dynamin-1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie as a Cell-Based ELISA format, this kit offers a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive workflow for measuring dynamin-1 protein expression in adherent cell samples. Detection is based on an indirect ELISA principle, in which dynamin-1-specific primary antibodies are bound by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, and the resulting colorimetric signal is read at 450 nm. The kit can be used to quantify relative dynamin-1 levels in cultured cells and to evaluate the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators.

Reactivity is validated for human, mouse, and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is provided as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to normalize absorbance values against cell density. The kit is supplied in a microplate format with recommended storage at 4°C and a stated stability of 6 months.
