Dog Motilin (MLN) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of canine motilin (MLN) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Motilin is a key hormone involved in the regulation of interdigestive gastrointestinal motility, where it indirectly causes rhythmic contraction of duodenal and colonic smooth muscle.

The assay delivers a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 4.4 pg/mL and recognises both natural and recombinant dog motilin. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with recovery and intra/inter CV values supplied with the kit.

The canine target corresponds to UniProt accession P19863 and is described as a secreted protein with a reported molecular weight of 2,685 Da. For research use only.
