Dog IL-13 ELISA Kit (CNEB0021)

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of canine Interleukin-13 (IL-13) in research samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with dog samples, accepting serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, including cell lysates, urine, cerebrospinal fluid and breast milk as outlined in the manufacturer's sample preparation guidance.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 19.5pg/mL, with intra-assay CV of 4.9% and inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported as 103-120% for serum, 88-117% for EDTA plasma and 98-117% for heparin plasma. Recovery is 99% (range 93-105%) for serum and 101% (range 95-107%) for plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant dog Interleukin-13 and is intended for research use only within the immunology research area.

IL-13 is a secreted cytokine that inhibits inflammatory cytokine production and synergizes with IL-2 in regulating interferon-gamma synthesis, contributing to the regulation of inflammatory and immune responses.
