Dog Beta-2-microglobulin (B2M) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate detection of beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) levels in dog serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants, as well as tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is reactive with dog samples.

The kit recognises natural and recombinant dog Beta-2-microglobulin, offering a detection range of 7.8-500ng/mL and a sensitivity of 3.7ng/mL. Linearity data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.

Beta-2-microglobulin functions as a component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC), acting as the beta-chain of MHC class I molecules in a heterodimer with an alpha chain. It is a secreted protein associated with cancer research, with the corresponding UniProt entry P19341. The kit is intended for research use only.
