Dog Adiponectin (ADIPOQ) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of Dog Adiponectin (ADIPOQ) in canine samples. The assay is reactive with dog and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, detecting both natural and recombinant canine adiponectin. Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.085 ng/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (N=5) with recoveries of 99-108% at 1:2, 108-117% at 1:4, 109-119% at 1:8, and 90-100% at 1:16 dilution; in EDTA plasma (N=5) with 104-114%, 105-113%, 96-106%, and 97-106% at the same dilutions; and in heparin plasma (N=5) with 90-102%, 109-119%, 109-119%, and 91-100% respectively. Adiponectin is a key adipokine involved in regulating glucose and lipid metabolism, inflammatory processes, and insulin sensitivity in dogs, with imbalances associated with obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. The product is supplied for research use only. Most components are stored at -20°C, with wash buffer, substrate and stop solution stored at 4°C, and the kit is shipped at +4°C.
