DNA-PK Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This colorimetric, cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables the qualitative detection and relative quantification of DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) protein expression directly in cultured cells, without the need for lysate preparation. Designed as a sensitive, high-throughput tool, it is suitable for measuring DNA-PK levels in cancer cells, immune cells, stem cells and other cell types, and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on DNA-PK. The kit is reactive with both Human and Mouse samples, supports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and uses colorimetric detection at 450 nm.

The assay follows an indirect ELISA format: DNA-PK is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalysing a colour reaction on substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density and correct for plating differences. The kit is intended for use with adherent cells, is provided in a microplate format, and is stored at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 Months.
