DGKQ Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the qualitative detection of DGKQ (diacylglycerol kinase theta) protein expression in cultured human cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which DGKQ-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm. The kit is lysate-free and suited to measuring relative DGKQ levels as well as screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on the target.

DGKQ plays a role in lipid metabolism and cell signaling by phosphorylating diacylglycerol to generate phosphatidic acid, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. To support accurate normalization, a monoclonal anti-human GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to adjust absorbance values to cell density. The assay is suitable for adherent cells, has a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells, and is stored at 4°C for 6 months.
