DGKE Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This Cell-Based ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of diacylglycerol kinase epsilon (DGKE) levels in adherent cells. The colorimetric assay offers high-throughput, lysate-free detection of DGKE protein expression profiles in cultured cells, with reactivity against human, mouse and rat samples.

The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which DGKE is captured by DGKE-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. Substrate addition produces a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to normalize absorbance values to cell density.

The kit is suited to screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on DGKE expression in cells.
