Cytochrome P450 3A4/5 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of Cytochrome P450 3A4/5 protein expression in cultured human cells, supporting studies of drug metabolism and toxicity. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which target-specific primary antibodies capture Cytochrome P450 3A4/5, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies enabling a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. The kit is described as a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive assay suitable for measuring relative target levels as well as screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on Cytochrome P450 3A4/5.

Samples are adherent cells, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density. The plate format is a 96-Well Microplate and the kit is stored at 4°C for 6 Months.
