Cytochrome P450 2C8/9/18/19 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides detection read at 450 nm for the qualitative measurement of Cytochrome P450 2C8/9/18/19 protein expression in cultured human cells. The assay is a lysate-free, high-throughput indirect ELISA in which target-specific primary antibodies are captured and then detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colorimetric reaction on substrate addition.

Marketed for human reactivity with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, the kit is suitable for adherent cell cultures as well as cell lysates, serum, and other biological samples. It can be used to measure relative Cytochrome P450 2C8/9/18/19 levels in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, or activators. A monoclonal anti-human GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, while a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step enables cell density to be determined so absorbance values can be adjusted for plating differences.

The kit is provided in a 96-well microplate format with a stated storage stability of 4°C for 6 months.
