Cyclin E1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit provides quantitative detection of Cyclin E1 levels in cell lysates and culture supernatants. It uses a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm in a lysate-free, indirect ELISA format, in which Cyclin E1 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The assay is suitable for adherent cells and is intended for measuring relative Cyclin E1 expression in cultured cells, including screening the impact of treatments, inhibitors, or activators.

The kit is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used after the colorimetric read-out to determine cell density so that absorbance can be normalised to cell amounts.
