Cullin 2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The cell-based ELISA from Assay Genie enables precise measurement of Cullin-2 levels in cell lysates and is suited for adherent cells. This lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive assay detects the Cullin 2 protein expression profile in cultured cells, and can be used to measure relative amounts of Cullin 2 as well as to screen for the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators.

Qualitative determination uses an indirect ELISA format: Cullin 2 is captured by specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalyzing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The detection method is colorimetric, measured at 450 nm. Reactivity is confirmed for Human and Mouse, and the dynamic range is > 5000 Cells. The kit is stored at 4°C with 6 Months stability. To address the qualitative nature of the assay, the kit includes a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance. The Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can also be used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalized to cell amounts.
