CSTF1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie for detecting CSTF1 (Cleavage stimulation factor subunit 1) in cultured cells, with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which CSTF1-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density after the colorimetric measurement.

Reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and suited to adherent cells, the kit is described as lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive, allowing measurement of relative CSTF1 amounts in cultured cells and screening of treatment, inhibitor (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activator effects.
