CSK Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie, designed to detect and quantify levels of CSK protein in cell cultures using a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm. The assay is lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive, capturing CSK via CSK-specific primary antibodies while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Reactivity is confirmed for human, mouse and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells. A monoclonal antibody against human GAPDH is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density. The kit is intended for use with adherent cell samples and supports research into cellular signalling pathways, including T cell receptor signalling, in which CSK — a tyrosine kinase of the Csk family that phosphorylates and inhibits Src family kinases — plays a regulatory role (UniProt ID: P41240; Gene ID: 1445; molecular weight 50,704 Da). Storage is at 4°C with a stability of 6 months.
