Description

A high-quality In-Cell ELISA Kit from Assay Genie, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate detection of phosphorylated CSFR (Colony-Stimulating Factor Receptor) at tyrosine 723 in cell lysates. Phosphorylation of CSFR at specific tyrosine residues is known to play a critical role in the activation of downstream signaling cascades that influence cellular processes such as proliferation and differentiation, making the kit useful for studying signaling pathways, disease mechanisms, and potential therapeutic targets.

Working with adherent cells, the assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which CSFR (Phospho-Tyr723) is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. It is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and has a dynamic range of more than 5,000 cells. The kit can be used to measure the relative amounts of phosphorylated CSFR in cultured cells as well as to screen for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors, or activators have on CSFR phosphorylation.

Because of the qualitative nature of the Cell-Based ELISA, the kit includes a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH to serve as an internal positive control in normalizing the target absorbance values. A Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may also be used to determine cell density, allowing results to be analysed by normalizing absorbance values to cell amounts and adjusting for plating differences.
