CRMP2 (Phospho-Thr509)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for studying phosphorylation of CRMP2 (Collapsin Response Mediator Protein 2) at threonine 509 in cultured adherent cells. The assay is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and uses a colorimetric method measured at 450 nm, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

Detection follows an indirect ELISA format: a phospho-specific primary antibody captures the target and an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody catalyses the colour reaction. The kit is described as lysate-free and high throughput, supporting measurement of relative CRMP2 phosphorylation in cultured cells and screening of treatments, inhibitors (e.g. siRNA or chemicals), or activators that affect CRMP2 phosphorylation. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density.
